I bought this based solely on the cover art. I like to do that sometimes. Man, what a stroke of luck that was. This is one of my absolute favorite BM albums so far. The piano solo at the end of track #2 is worth the price alone. There's a reoccurring melody line that weaves in and out. It gives this a great prog feel. Really love their fearlessness in song arrangements. For me, this is top 3 or 4 favorite BM of all time. knutepanhead
The Best Batushka album so far. A Black Metal Classic!!!
There are few albums that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track and this is on the top of the list. You almost have to listen to the album as a whole.

The true follow up to this album is Krzysztof Drabikowski Панихида (Panihida). Bart's Раскол / Raskol EP is also a good follow up to this album as well just not as close as Panihida sounds.

Deep, emotional, intense. Give it a shot, it just might be what you're craving. Listened to while taking in the Hawaii landscape, and IN LOVE. Cassandra Morales
A ferocious display of blackened stoner-doom from Moscow's Moanhand, who offsets moments of bleak ugliness with clean, haunting melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 23, 2021
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019
